Dr. Uyar graduated from the Hacettepe University Medical School in 1987 and completed his specialization in Ophthalmology at Istanbul Educational and Research Hospital in 1991 and worked there until 2012. He has nearly thirty years of practice and experience in almost all branches of ophthalmology and especially in surgical retina, medical retina, ocular trauma, cataract refractive surgery, lasers and medicolegal ophthalmology. After having passed the related exams in addition to his associate professorship, he got international FEBO and FICO titles. He has been working at his own office since 1996 and at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Maltepe University since 2013. Dr. Uyar is member of both some national and international ophthalmological associations and societies and has nearly 60 medical articles, 100 congress presentations, more than 20 panel talks, course instructions, book chapters and translations, more than 100 congress and symposium certificates, appreciation from Istanbul Governor's Office, and some thank certificates and plaques from various associations.
